Azad Govt. of State of Jammu and Kashmir
Anti-corruption Establishment of AJ&K; came into existence in 1950. Primarily the establishment has been working with the Police Department. It was separated from the Police Department in 1983. From 1984 to 1994 the aditional charge of Director General Anti-Corruption Establishment remained with the Chairman Prime Minister Inspection Team. Since 1994 this department has been working as attached department of services & GAD. Presently the Department is headed by Director General with its main office at Muzaffarabad and One circle office in each of the three divisions of Muzaffarabad, Mirpur and Rawalakot. It has one Police Station at Muzaffarabad.
In the light of Rules of Business, 1985 functions of the Anti-corruption Establishment are Prevention of corrution under relavent laws, conduct of Preliminary inquiries against civil servants in corruption cases, adoption Procedures for sanctions of inquiries and procescution of the cases with concerned authorities and ervice matters of the establishment except those entrusted to services and General Administration Department.

Composition of Anti-Corruption Committee
In the light of Anti-corruption Establishment Rules,1997. An Anti-corruption committee has been constituted to review the periodic progress of Anti-corruption Establishment cases, to simplify the procedure and to make recommendations for eradication of corruption etc. The committee is dreaded by the chief Secretary esq as Chairman where as Senior member Board of Revenue,Secretary Law, Secretary of the department concerned and Director General Anti-corruption Establishment are members of the committee. The committee is to meet at least once in a period of six months.

Procedure Of Submition Of Complaints
Complaints ageist the public servant are received by the Anti-Corruption Establishment from the departments, general public and other reliable scores Applications may be submitted against public servants who are allegedly involved in bribery, tempering, possessing, bogus degrees/certificate mis use of power, violation of merit and bogus appointments etc. applications may be accompanied by copy of ID card, affidavit and with nursery document for advance may be attached with the application. Applications may be submitted at the name of DG Anti corruption AJ&K. applications are advised to give full name and address for contact and correspondence .
